The New Jaguar National Park That Will Care for the Natural Wealth of Tulum

The Jaguar National Park will be a new ecological project that will take care of the cultural, natural and historical richness of the Riviera Maya. The plan seeks to preserve the jaguars that live in the Yucatán Peninsula, after years in which disorderly growth in Tulum posed a significant threat to the flora and fauna of the region.

An International Environmental Benchmark

The Government of Mexico will develop this park, which will be an international benchmark in environmental matters and a space for ecosystem-friendly coexistence.

Degraded areas will be restored over an area of 1,000 hectares, with environmentally friendly activities such as beekeeping and strategies for the care of the area's wildlife and fauna.

Design and Construction Principles

The area will be delimited so that the species can circulate freely. Accesses and architecture with bioclimatic principles are contemplated throughout the design.

The materials used in the construction of this development will be local, with a careful use of natural resources, especially water and energy.

A Future Biosphere Reserve

As part of this project, a new protected area will be created that could be considered a biosphere reserve of more than 250,000 hectares for the protection of the jaguar and other species in the territory.

In Summary

The Jaguar National Park is a structural answer to years of unchecked growth in Tulum. For investors, it is a signal: the Riviera Maya's value is increasingly tied to protected nature, not just beach footage. Conservation and capital gains are aligned here.
